Congratulations to our very own TVAA member Donna Shaw!

Donna's piece titled "Before the Rainbow" has been chosen for the 2010 Enfield/Windsor edition of Reminder Gold Pages.  Her painting will be featured on the cover of the upcoming Enfield / Windsor phone directory.  This directory will be distributed in March to approximately 50,000 homes and businesses in the towns of Enfield, Suffield, Somers, Windsor Locks, East Windsor and Windsor.  It will also be distributed at all Rockville Bank regional  branch locations.  Way to go Donna!!

Here are a some great accomplishments from a few of our TVAA members!

• Nancy Tongue Howe received second prize in watercolor in the senior adult art show at the Jewish Community Center on November 15, 2009.
• Barbara Alex and Luciana Heineman had paintings excepted into the Connecticut Watercolor Society’s juried December Show in West Hartford, where Barbara’s painting received and honorable mention.
• Barbara Alex also had a watercolor accepted into the New Britain Museum of American Art’s 2009 juried member show.
• Doris Coughlin had two paintings accepted into the Connecticut Watercolor Society’s juried show in West Hartford. One watercolor and one collage. Doris also received second prize in the watercolor category at the Tolland County Art Association Open Show at the South Windsor Library.
• Barbara Alex, Luciana Heineman, Donna Jean Shaw, Jo-Anne English were accepted into the juried Granby Land Trust Show in November.
